CASTING UPDATE - 4 June 2026

Due to the overwhelming response we have received, we have now reached capacity and must close submissions for this project. We have received an amazing response and now have sufficient applicants for the production. Unfortunately, we are now unable to accept any further applications for this specific shoot at this time.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who applied, as well as those who were considering applying. The level of interest and support is greatly appreciated.

INFORMATION FOR FILM EXTRAS:

Join us and be part of one of the film’s most important scenes.
This scene will be part of the upcoming folk-horror feature film THE GRIEVING STONES, set to premiere in Q4-2026. The film is produced by Guernsey Filmworks & Rêvasser Films.


Specifications:

Female; open to all ages and backgrounds.


About the Scene:

The scene captures a powerful gathering of women journeying together through the landscape toward an ancient stone circle.



Important Notes:

Please ensure you’re comfortable walking across uneven ground that may be wet or gently hilly.
Participants are asked to avoid wearing clothing featuring bright colours or prominent branding/logos. We suggest you wear sturdy shoes.

You’re welcome to bring family and friends, just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Filming is scheduled to occur outdoors, subject to weather conditions. Should the weather be unsuitable, the shoot will be rescheduled, and participants will be notified in advance via email.

Filming is scheduled for: Sunday 7 June, 2026.
Time: 13:00 pm. Should not take longer than 1.5 hours.
Location: Field down at Talbot Valley. Please see the map below for the specific location.
