Poster reveal - Short film LORELEI by Lars Janssen

We would like to reveal the official poster for our upcoming World War I fantasy-thriller short film LORELEI, created by Creative Director & Illustrator Laz Marquez. Laz's stunning signature style has been utilized by a variety of clients like Arrow Video, Netflix, Disney, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros and New Line Cinema. We are excited to present our first film produced with our local production division Guernsey Filmworks in collaboration with many talents from the Island. LORELEI will premiere next month - September 7th, 2021 - at The Mallard Cinema in Guernsey. Tickets will soon be available on their website. This premiere will host a supportive fundraiser for The Guernsey Arts (GAC) & Festung Guernsey.

Making films locally also benefits tourism,’ said Lars. ‘Dorset, where Broadchurch is filmed, has reported an increase in visitors because of the TV series. In Guernsey, Culture & Heritage has given us a list of specific places that would be great locations to film at, all of which show Guernsey at its best.

We want to be able to give back to the island, especially through working with mental health and well-being charities,’ said Charlotte. ‘Also, as Endgame concerns LGBTQ issues, we’d work alongside Liberate. We’re trying to get as many organisations on-board as possible.

BACKSTAGE wins Editing Award by Rêvasser Films

Our 70’s thriller short film BACKSTAGE has received two nominations and one award at the film festival Asylum Horror Show (US).

The film has been nominated for Best Music and Best Villain. We want to congratulate our talented composer Herman Witkam and lead actor Gus Drake. We also won the award for Best Editing by director Lars Janssen.
