LORELEI receives nominations & awards by Rêvasser Films

Our short film LORELEI is currently screening at film festivals around the world and has so far gathered a very interesting variety of nominations and awards.

A selection of awards LORELEI has recently won.

The score (by composer Herman Witkam) was beautifully crafted to elevate the storytelling experience. It followed the story beat by beat, enhancing emotion as the story advanced with well-timed and paced high and low tones.

Guernsey Premiere - Short film LORELEI by Rêvasser Films

Our latest short film LORELEI, a World War I fantasy-thriller shot on Lihou and Guernsey, premiered at The Mallard Cinema in Guernsey last week.

We were pleased to present our first (short) film LORELEI produced by our local production division Guernsey Filmworks in collaboration with many talents from the Island. We would like to thank everyone for attending and for the donations made to Festung Guernsey and the Guernsey Arts.

We especially would like to thank our event sponsors The Mallard Cinema, Fat Rascal and the Driftwood Inn.

Lorelei is an effective, atmospheric fantasy horror. The locations are wonderfully well chosen, the story suitably confusing (until the end – but then again...) and the soundtrack chillingly matches the visuals. It stays with you long after you leave the cinema aisles.

BACKSTAGE - Upcoming Festival Screenings by Rêvasser Films

This month (September) our short film BACKSTAGE will be screened at two film festivals in Finland and the United Kingdom. It’s an absolute pleasure to be back with another production at the 34th Helsinki International Film Festival. We are selected with 7 other short films for the Night Visions presents category.

A carefully constructed period thriller set in the 70s, Backstage offers us a candid look behind the scenes of the uninhibited rock’n’roll life of yesteryear, where sex and drugs just might not have been the most dangerous poison after all.
